Whiplash: The injury you may not be aware of

Whiplash is an injury that can be caused by a car accident. There may be minimal or no damage done to your vehicle which will lead the insurance companies to claim that you were not injured in the accident. Also, you may not know you are injured for weeks after the accident. I know this first hand from my car accident. It wasn't until a few weeks after my accident, and after I told the other party's insurance company I was not hurt, that I could barely move. After months of doctor visits I learned of my neck injuries.

Symptoms of whiplash include neck pain and stiffness, headaches, pain in the shoulder or between the shoulder blades, low pack pain, pain or numbness in the arm and/or hand, dizziness and/or ringing in the ears or blurred vision.

When you are involved in a car wreck it is essential that you seek medical attention from a board certified Physician to treat your injuries.  I want to stress that even if you do not think you are injured still make an appointment!  I was involved in a car accident years ago and didn't think I was hurt.....until three weeks later when I could no longer move.  Most drivers carry usually carry $5,000 in MedPay so check your policy...if you don't have it....it is worth the few dollars a month to add to your policy.
It allows immediate medical treatment so even if you don't "feel" injured you don't have to worry about the bills.  It's better to go in and make sure you are healthy.

Dr. Sutton:  "Injuries such as whiplash usually may not show any symptoms for hours, days or even a week later. If you've been injured in an automobile accident your injuries will probably not heal on their own. A soft-tissue injury is permanent and if scar tissue forms in your muscles, it may leave them less flexible and prone to re-injury if not treated."

  1. You should also be able to count on polishing them to a high sheen due to the scratch resistance of
the watch glass. But there would be some who would want to
use these watches for an everyday basis. There are several factors to consider when purchasing a luxury
watch, especially if it is being purchased, in part, as an investment.
